I’m probably going to take the next week off from the farm in order to finish polishing book three. Editing and proofreading take a tremendous amount of concentration for me, and I want this book to be the best I can make it. I hate to lose a little momentum at the farm, but right now, the book has to take priority.
My oldest niece graduates from high school tonight. She’s officially all grown up, at least in her mind, anyway. She starts WSCC in the fall, but I’m not sure what she is going to study. I’m very proud of her and hope that she finds success in this world, whatever she defines as success for herself. It’s hard to believe that she’s already through grade school. It seems like just a few days ago that I had come home from Memphis after my college graduation and was tossing her around on her bed while she at two didn’t know whether to be terrified or excited by it. She stole my heart that day.
That’s all for now. I’ll post a new update on book three early next week.
I feel your pain! My oldest niece has graduated college and is married. She has a toddler. I’m a Great Uncle! When did that happen?
Hey, congrats on finishing the book. I think it’s the right call. Power it through to completion then back to the farm.
you are on your way to getting to put “gentleman farmer and noted fantasy author” before your name. You already have the author part of course!
