I’m taking a little break before diving into the pile of papers waiting to be graded andwanted to write a quick blog. I can’t believe Dragon*Con is THIS weekend. In some ways, this summer has flown by, but in others, it has been an eternity. For the last week, I’ve been extraordinarily nervous about the show, but this morning, the fear began to morph into excitement. I’m ready. My media kits are mostly done; I know my panel schedule; we have a room in the Sheraton, one of the hubs; and I’m psychologically and emotionally prepared for the challenges. It’s go time, plain and simple.
I’m going to provide regular updates on Twitter live from the show, so if you’d like to keep up with my progress, follow my tweets. In shows past, I’ve not been able to update regularly because of not being able to get back to my computer often enough, but I can send texts to Twitter for the updates, so I can update from my panels if I want to. Technology is amazing.
That’s all for now. I really have to grade these papers.
